The SmokinTex 1400 Pro series smoker delivers exactly what it says it will do and it does it very well. This fully insulated stainless steel box has been teamed up with a 700 watt heating element which allows for the smoking of up to 38 pounds of meat. By having room for 5 racks and multiple rib hooks one can easily smoke anything from fish to ribs. For those who like to cold smoke or make jerky, SmokinTex provides a cold smoke plate accessory as well as a jerky dryer attachment. A temperature control knob on the top of the unit allows for you to set the heat to your preferred level and then walk away with confidence. The optional smoker cart is a great way to get the smoker up off the ground and at a workable height without having to lift it up onto a table. At a 90-pound dry weight you don’t want to be lifting it too often. The smoker does include four wheels for easy roller transportation but the wheeled smoker cart option is definitely a wise purchase.
